About Me

I'm Jason Howell,
Podcast Strategist and Production Advisor.

I’ve spent my career at the edge of emerging media because building in new formats is both exciting and empowering.

Over the past two decades, I’ve helped build podcast networks at CNET, produced flagship shows like This Week in Tech, and hosted long-running programs including All About Android and Tech News Today at TWiT. I’ve also taught broadcast and digital media at the Academy of Art University, mentoring the next generation of creators.

More recently, I founded Yellowgold Studios, where I launched the AI Inside podcast, built YouTube channels, grew audiences across social platforms, and began contributing to outlets like ZDNET and Micro Center News. I understand both the structure of established media and the scrappy reality of building shows independently.

Now I bring that mix of technical depth, hosting experience, and strategy to help creators and companies launch stronger podcasts and fix the ones that aren’t working.
